Could 2026 become known as the year of the second round? Looking through tonight’s Bronze Live Draft, it’s hard not to believe that’s possible.
Instead of safe, low-ceiling selections, fantasy managers attacked upside. Nearly every player selected from picks 13 through 24 has realistic top-three positional upside, and many are coming off incredible seasons and somehow still weren’t first-round picks. 2.12 — George Pickens (Dallas Cowboys)

Every offseason there seems to be another reason to doubt Kyren Williams. Yet every season he keeps proving everyone wrong—three straight seasons with double-digit touchdowns. That’s not luck. That’s exactly what fantasy managers should be chasing in the second round.
The Rams continue operating one of the NFL’s most fantasy-friendly offenses. Opportunity, red-zone touches, and coaching-staff trust all matter, and Williams has all three.
League-Winning Outlook: Another RB1 season with top-five upside if the Rams continue feeding him near the goal line.
2.10 — Jeremiyah Love (Arizona Cardinals)
This may eventually become the pick everyone wishes they had made. Jeremiyah Love entered the NFL as one of the highest-rated rookie running back prospects ever evaluated—his athletic profile borders on absurd, and his vision, acceleration, and receiving ability make him the complete modern NFL running back.
The Cardinals clearly believe Love can become the centerpiece of their offense. If that happens quickly, fantasy football may look back at Pick 2.10 as one of the biggest bargains in all of 2026 drafts.

2.09 — Derrick Henry (Baltimore Ravens)
Every single offseason someone says Derrick Henry is finally slowing down. Every single season King Henry reminds everyone why he’s still one of fantasy football’s biggest difference makers. Henry has now produced eight consecutive seasons with double-digit touchdowns and topped 1,500 rushing yards in three of the past four seasons.
Touchdowns win fantasy championships, and few players in football remain more dominant near the goal line.

2.08 — Breece Hall (New York Jets)
We’ve all seen the flashes, the explosive runs, the games where Breece Hall looks like the most talented running back on the field. Now imagine everything finally coming together: a healthy Garrett Wilson, Geno Smith at quarterback, and rookie additions like Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr. creating more explosive opportunities across the offense.
Health has always been the question—not talent. When healthy, Hall possesses elite vision, outstanding receiving ability, and the speed to score from anywhere on the field.
League-Winning Outlook: Overall RB1 upside if health finally cooperates for an entire season.
2.07 — Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
Come on—it’s J Jettas. Justin Jefferson has already shown us exactly who he is: one of the greatest wide receivers on the planet. Elite route running, elite hands, elite body control, elite consistency—there simply aren’t many weaknesses in his game.
Fantasy championships require superstars, and Jefferson has already proven he’s one of them.
League-Winning Outlook: As long as he’s healthy, Justin Jefferson remains one of the safest bets in fantasy football to finish as an elite WR1.
2.06 — Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles)
Have we already forgotten what Saquon Barkley accomplished just two seasons ago? Barkley rushed for more than 2,000 yards—one of the most memorable rushing campaigns we’ve seen in years.
With A.J. Brown no longer in Philadelphia, the Eagles may lean even more heavily on the ground game, meaning more touches, more goal-line opportunities, and more chances for Barkley to carry fantasy teams.
League-Winning Outlook: Another overall RB1 finish is absolutely within reach if Philadelphia continues building its offense around Barkley.
2.05 — Kenneth Walker III (Kansas City Chiefs)
If there was ever a player positioned for a career year, it might be Kenneth Walker III. Walker is coming off being named Super Bowl LX MVP after rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown on football’s biggest stage—and now he joins Andy Reid’s offense alongside Patrick Mahomes.
Defenses already struggle containing Mahomes. Now they must also account for one of football’s most explosive runners.
League-Winning Outlook: Career highs across the board are well within reach inside Kansas City’s explosive offense.
2.04 — Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals)
Sometimes fantasy football isn’t about finding the best player—it’s about creating the biggest weekly advantage. No player at his position accomplished that better than Trey McBride last season. McBride finished as the overall TE1 by more than 100 fantasy points, a gap that’s almost impossible to replace.
Veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett returns to Arizona on a one-year deal, bringing familiarity and stability to the offense.
League-Winning Outlook: The clear favorite to finish as fantasy football’s TE1 once again.
2.03 — A.J. Brown (New England Patriots)
Sometimes great players simply need a new opportunity. A.J. Brown enters 2026 with exactly that, joining one of the NFL’s most exciting young quarterbacks in Drake Maye.
Brown has always possessed elite physical tools—nearly impossible to tackle after the catch, dominant in contested situations, and consistently among the league leaders in explosive plays.
League-Winning Outlook: A legitimate top-five fantasy receiver capable of posting career-best numbers.
2.02 — De’Von Achane (Miami Dolphins)
There may not be a more explosive player in fantasy football. But this season, something is different: opportunity. If Achane stays healthy, he isn’t simply Miami’s best offensive weapon—he’s essentially the offense’s featured running back.
Pairing his efficiency with true bell-cow volume is how league-winning seasons happen.
League-Winning Outlook: One of the highest ceilings in fantasy football if he receives a full workload.
2.01 — Ashton Jeanty (Las Vegas Raiders)
The second round begins with perhaps the most fascinating player in fantasy football. Last year, Ashton Jeanty entered rookie drafts as the unanimous 1.01. The breakout didn’t fully arrive—now enters Year Two.
The Raiders have reshaped the offense by adding Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, giving Jeanty far more stability than he had during his rookie season. Vision, patience, receiving ability, balance, explosiveness—everything that made him the consensus top rookie still exists.

What Tonight’s Draft Told Us About 2026 Fantasy Football
Several trends were impossible to ignore. Running backs are once again king—eight of the 12 players selected in Round 2 were running backs, showing that elite volume and touchdown upside are once again at a premium. Elite veterans still offer tremendous value: Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson, and A.J. Brown all slipped into the second round despite years of elite production. The rookie class continues to excite: Ashton Jeanty and Jeremiyah Love represent the next generation of superstar running backs. And positional advantages matter more than ever—Trey McBride showed last season that having the clear-cut TE1 provides a weekly edge few other positions can match.
Perhaps most importantly, this draft reinforced something fantasy managers have known for years: championships aren’t won by simply surviving the first round. They’re won by finding difference-makers in the second.

Years from now, we may look back at this draft and realize the most important picks weren’t made in Round 1—they were made between Picks 13 and 24.
